Guide: How To Record / Play A Demo

Recording a Demo
You need to join the Spectator Mode when you are ingame in able to record a player for a demo. First, when spectating on the player you want to record a demo, you need to type on console /record <playername> Example: /record PowerDrain. When the player died, you need to find and spectate on him again on the next round. When you are already satisfied with your demo, type on your console /stop, in able to stop the recording of the demo. After you record your demo. Upload it using http://www.filefront.com., http://www.rapidshare.de or http://www.mediafire.com/ Then after you upload it, copy the uploaded file link, and post it at the respective Demo Threads:

Counter-Strike: Source Demos

Playing A Demo
After recording a demo, the demo file can be seen in your cstrike folder.
Example: C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike\PowerDrain.dem
Open your counter-strike client, activate your console and then type /playdemo <demo name>.
Example: /playdemo PowerDrain.dem

We Moderators will check your demo when we have time. If positive for using hack programs, the player recorded on the demo will be banned and be registered on our Moderators' Watch List.
